The charity auction on Ebay

Thomas Anders is famous by his willing participating in charity auctions. So, he displayed for online sale his new solo album "This time" on February, before the official release date. The first prize was the direct receiving of CD from Thomas’ hands.

The money was collected in favor of the children’ project "ARCHE". This organization helps mistreated children for they wouldn’t take the wrong way of life and would forget their awful experiences.

The auction lasted for 8 days and had finished with a huge sum of 16.050 euro! The lucky winner was Claudia Bachmann. Her parents paid money for their daughter, and because of it Claudia could take part in a dinner with Thomas in Munich. Thomas has been there on February, 18 and took part in shooting of "Chart-Show", that’s why one could connect these events.

Munich. The transmission of CD

Claudia, filled with excitement, met with Thomas and his boss from the recording company in Munich high-rank hotel "Bayerischer Hof". There was a cozy dinner with Thomas and two photographers from "BamS" and "BRAVO", who took pictures of this event – a presentation of CD to the happy winner and a transmission of the check. Claudia said that she felt herself like during the photo session – both photographers demanded new poses from her and Thomas.

After the photo session Claudia, Thomas and his boss could talk in peace. Their talk applied to Stefan Raab’s contest "SSDSGPS", to "King of love" video and to some private things. So, Thomas told proudly about wonderful development of his little son.

Claudia is chained to invalid carriage from her childhood, and it was a very wonderful and unforgettable evening for her. She was also glad to help children in need by her participation.

Berlin. The transmission of check

On March 19, 2004 it was a great excitement in the Youth center "Arche" in Hellersdorf of Berlin. Along toward midday the indoors were totally crowded by those who wanted to have a look at the famous guest, who brought a large amount of money as a support for the Christian children organization. The check gained a new owner on that day! Thomas came to "Arche" personally in order to transmit a check.

The recollection of event of Yvette Grassmann and her 5-years old daughter Jessica:

"A few days before little Jessica was waiting round the clock for Friday and for appearance of Thomas, a "prince of her dreams". Of course, I was happy, too. Finally, the day has come. I collected her from the kindergarten a bit sooner. She was so excited that even couldn’t eat!

We leaved at 11.30 and took a subway, because Hellersdorf district is quite far. We had to cross through Berlin. We approached to "Arche" around 12.50.

We couldn’t see anyone before the door. Could they let us enter? Anyway, nobody detained us, because there was no guard. We could find the room quickly enough. We saw a few (4 or 5) journalists (some of them interviewed fans), a few "Arche" workers, kids (which spend daytime there), and, of course, fans. The room was relatively small, and it couldn’t admit everyone. When one of "Arche" workers noticed Jessica, she immediately rushed forward in order to come closer to her "prince". Her little eyes were beaming with happiness! She in her five was the youngest fan of all!

The check was transmitted to the chief of children’s project. Thomas said that he was very happy to know that the Ebay auction could collect a pretty nice sum of money, 16.050 euro, and he would like to give this check to "Arche". He was sure that they would use it properly.

At the end all children could be seated around Thomas in order to take pictures. As usual, Thomas was very, very patient and tried to smile to each camera. Fortunately, I also could take a picture.

After the photo session we have received two pictures from "This Time" and have signed them. Moreover, Thomas signed a booklet from "This Time". He was very polite as usual and tried to pay attention to everyone, although he could hardly move in the thick of crowd.

I asked Thomas if we could take picture with him together with Jessica. "Of course", - he said, "but later". He had to go to the next room and to meet with journalists. We were waiting near the door… In ten minutes he went out again. When he saw Jessica, he remembered immediately that he promised to take picture with her. We thanked him, and after a few signatures Thomas said goodbye to everyone and entered a dark jeep. We waved our hands after him.

Finally Jessica could eat something! And after that she told me rapturously: "Thomas is so cute! He looks much better in life!"
