Thomas
Anders takes part in private initiative of German soldiers in helping children,
living in crisis and hostility zones.
On
November, 11, 2004 Thomas Anders and a famous comedy actress Annette Frier
will bake Christmas cookies and spice-cake figures as a Christmas regard
for the children, living in crisis and hostility zones. It will be held in
Ludwigshafen. The sponsor of this event is supposed to be a great baking
master Astroh Küchen from Ludwigshafen, who represents different baking
products and who keeps his own bakery school.
A lot of bakeries in Ludwigshafen decided to support this action
and to bake cookies as a part of action "Helping the Laughter" ("Lachen
Helfen").
The chief of this action, Roderich Thien, said that he’s very happy
to attract for participation so famous participants! He expressed his hope
that because of this action a lot of people will make a decision to donate
money or to render a humanitarian help.
Thomas supports "Lachen Helfen" ideas: "I myself have a
little son, and I know, how much children need help and support. I cannot
even imagine that something bad could happen to Alexander! The kids living
in crisis and hostile zones need our help. That’s why I support the "Lachen
Helfen" union and I hope that this initiative will induce a lot of people
to make donations, because our children are our future".
The action "Lachen Helfen" was initiated in 1996 by German soldiers,
who were dislocated as peace makers in hostility zones in ex-Yugoslavia. When
they saw incredible miseries of inhabitants, they decided to ease the life
of those who suffered most: women, kids and old people, who required many
important things for life.
The Union of German soldiers was registered officially in 1998 as
an international charity organization. Its main activity is maintenance and
equipping of children’s homes, schools and kindergartens. Moreover, this Union
helps different organizations, which promote cultural education of the children
of different nationalities.
