Thomas Anders, his band, Valerie Simmons and the Philharmonic string orchestra, the Liebfrauenkirche choir and the childish choir represented an outstanding and inspiring concert in the church on December, 20, 1998. It consisted of the traditional American and German Christmas songs.

The concert was sold out completely! Moreover, more than thousand spectators gathered outside on the church square. They could see it live broadcast on the screen in front of the church faзade.

A lot of burning candles and a mulled wine created a wonderful mood! The lavish donation collected at that day was sent for the renewal of the church (Liebfrauenkirche) in Koblenz.
