Concert in the "Spring Call-up" action

On Saturday, 21. 05. 2005 Thomas Anders had performed a 1, 5 hour concert in Stavropol on the "Dinamo" stadium in the context of action "Spring Call-up", held by the "Ford" company. This action had been taking place in ACK "DreamCar" from March, 20 to May, 20, 2005.

"DreamCar" is the official dealer of "Ford" automobiles, which had opened its auto shop in Stavropol on December, 3, 2002. This shop sells "Ford" automobiles and proposes its technical equipment; it meets the highest requirements.

In the context of action "Spring Call-up" the participants of the drive test on Ford automobiles have received a unique gift – an invitation to the Russian opening of a new Ford Focus-2 with the laser-pyrotechnical show and a super show with world stars, including Thomas Anders, an Alla Dukhova’ Ballet "Todes", Nickolai Fomenko. The technical support of the show was provided by: Laser Kinetics (light); ModifiC (sound); Live Sound (backline).

The recollection of the Elizaveta: "Thomas performed at the end of the concert (before him there was a performance of "Todes" Ballet and the laser-pyrotechnical show with splendid fireworks, lasted for 1, 5 hours). The concert took place on the stadium accommodating 20.000 spectators (there were around 15.000, and, of course, they occupied the front part before the stage + 60 rows per 60 seats). The stage was no worse than in Kremlin, and the sound was perfect (taking into account the fact of the open air!) Above all, Thomas sang 100% "live"! The arrangements were unusual – obviously, the band performed "live", too!

Thomas sang around 15 songs – a whole concert! We took seats before the stage, but it was too far – 46th row only! Anyway, we were lucky: after Thomas’ appearance many jumped up from their seats and rushed towards the stage. The police didn’t rush to disperse them immediately, and I could find and occupy 2 free seats in the 10th row at first, and later – at the second row! It was great! Well, I can say I liked it! The only thing I disliked was that our audience could hardly understand English. Thomas says something – no reaction! People could only recognize the names of songs, ha!

Thomas has got a new trick – he shrieked something like "Yo-ho!" like a Latin American.

The weather was truly fine: +30 during the daytime, and +23 in the evening. Thomas noticed it and remarked that he liked it, because the German weather was much cooler.

On the whole, the concert resembled the same one in Kremlin. Thomas was completely wonderful, as usual; he had a good mood and kindly signed white caps (with the inscription "New Ford Focus-2", which were distributed at the entrance together with flags, because the whole event was devoted to the presentation of a new automobile). Sometimes he joked, that the main goal of his coming was to sing…

The Stavropol audience was too greedy – Thomas received only two bunches of flowers! Everyone could approach him almost freely. The guitarist ran along the stage from time to time, trying to arouse the audience. As usual, at the end it was a trick of "leaving the stage". The lights went out, everyone was about to leave, but I knew that it was not the end! A few minutes later Thomas appeared again and sang one more song. Everyone got up from their seats, and we found ourselves 5 meters from the stage! So, we have received a huge supply of positive energy and nice mood".
