Bohlen
is ought to pay his ex-partner
Thomas
Anders, the second half of “Modern Talking”, will receive 60.000 euro of
compensation for immaterial damage from his ex-colleague.
Now Thomas can have a sigh of relief. The Berlin court has decided:
Dieter Bohlen, his ex-partner from duo “Modern Talking”, has to pay 60.000
euro of compensation for moral damages, because he has prosecuted Anders unjustly
in appropriating money gained in tours. For the pop-singer from Koblenz the
chapter, concerned with Bohlen, “finally, at last” got over.
Berlin/Koblenz. Thomas Anders asserts that now his mind became peaceful
and calm. In his talk with our reporter he said: “I’m happy that everything
has finally come to the end”.
Let’s look back. Both ex-singers of famous duo had been keeping fighting
with each other for ages. The quarrel has flared up because of Dieter Bohlen’s
book “Hinter den Kulissen”. Bohlen has prosecuted Anders unjustly in appropriating
money and jugging the accounts during their tours. Anders has demanded 1 million
for compensation of moral damages, caused by this libel. Then the sum was
lessened till 250.000, and the final verdict of the court came to 60.000 euro.
However, Anders didn’t want to get something for himself: “Unfortunately,
it is less than we have expected. But this money will be paid by
Mister Bohlen. Thus, this trial was not lost on him financially”. Anders is planning to use
this money for charity. “With no doubt, this sum will
be used for children’s needs”.
He hasn’t seen Dieter Bohlen for a long time. He wouldn’t smoke the
peace-pipe together with this greatest producer of scandal headlines
for rags not for all the tea in China. But that’s not the point of
hatred. “It would be a bad adviser”. If they would have to clash with Bohlen
somewhere, Thomas “would remain almost indifferent”. But “Modern Talking-3
would never exist for sure”.
The famous duo “Modern Talking” broke up on June, 2003. In 80-s Anders
and Bohlen have conquered charts with their songs “You’re My Heart, You’re
My Soul”, “Cheri Cheri Lady” and “Brother Louie”.
Would Thomas like to erase the time of cooperation with Bohlen from
his memory? It is not a question for Anders: “It would
be discourteous for my part – to forget about his existence holus-bolus. Dieter
Bohlen is a part of my life. We could earn a pretty sum of money and broke
a lot of musical records. No. It would be an illustration of flabbiness” – he said. And he
promises a new album in the beginning of next March. This album will demonstrate “completely
new sides” of him – the album accompanied by a string orchestra.
So, he’s got no time to worry about Bohlen, especially just before
the fifth season of “Best of Formel 1”.
